Mr. Painchaud - Principal

Mr. Painchaud has been an educator in North East Saskatchewan for his entire career.  He is very happy to be in his current role as Principal of MUCC.  Mr. Painchaud manages the day-to-day operations of MUCC and looks to make each day a good one for all staff and students in the building. When not in school, there is a good chance you will find Mr. Painchaud on his boat with his family, tinkering in his garage or on the golf course. 

Mr. Painchaud has been Principal at Melfort Collegiate since 2023.

Mr. Calow - Vice Principal

Mr. Calow began his teaching career in Northern Manitoba, and then moved to Melfort, where he has been teaching for the past 13 years.  In the fall of 2023, he took on his new role as Vice Principal at MUCC, where he helps manage the day-to-day operations, but is fortunate to also teach Calculus every day as well.  In his spare time, he enjoys coaching/playing sports, going on outdoor adventures, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Calow has been Vice-Principal since 2023.

Jeffery Peterson

Mr. Peterson began his teaching career in the United Kingdom in 1994. After his adventures in the U.K., Mr. Peterson returned to his home province of Saskatchewan to continue his teaching journey in Loon Lake, Kinistin Saulteaux Nation, and Star City. In 1999, Mr. Peterson took a job as an Educational Assistant at MUCC and has been at that school ever since. Mr. Peterson took on the position of Vice Principal in 2007 and has continued in that role to the present day.
